Howard Cook

Howard Cook (1901-1980) is best known for his woodcuts, watercolors, and drawings of the American Southwest. Cook settled in Taos, New Mexico in 1935, where he remained for the rest of his life. After achieving national recognition for his printmaking, Cook changed direction and focused instead on illustration, watercolors, murals, and collages.
