About the Role
The Secretary assists the President in tracking COMS Active Membership and distributing respective benefits, such as swag and access to Discord membership channels like the COMS Alumni Network, to Active Members on a semesterly basis. The Secretary also creates and manages organizational materials, including slideshow presentations for General Meetings and weekly Executive Board meeting documents.
About Afia
Afia is a 3rd-year Software Engineering student with an immersion in History and a double minor in Business Administration and HR Management. She has participated in Kode with Klossy and Girls Who Code summer programs, and was an Orientation Leader for 2025. Outside of college, she enjoys attending hackathons, working on random projects, and writing one-line Python solutions to coding questions for fun.
