About the Role
The Vice President assists the President in being an ambassador for COMS on campus, in the community, and at related events. They work closely with the Assistant Director of Diversity Initiatives to find sponsorship opportunities for COMS and take part in communication with sponsors. The Vice President also works on creating new initiatives for members, such as our new networking event with industry professionals, NextGen.
About Maxwell
Maxwell is a second-year Computer Science student with a double major in Economics. He has experience in tech-related events like Kode with Klossy and COMS’ own hackathon, HACK.COMS. He has additionally held leadership and ambassador positions in fundraising/community events such as STEM to Stern, Stars CGI, and CodeSpeak Labs. Outside of college, he enjoys traveling the world, digital illustration, retro games, and trying different cuisines.
