Khawaja Abaid Ullah is a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he works as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Khojasteh Autonomous Systems (KAS) Lab under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Javad Khojasteh. He received his MS in Artificial Intelligence from RIT in 2026 as a Fulbright scholar. During his master's, he worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern for AI/ML at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Palo Alto for summer 2025.

His research spans machine learning security and autonomous systems. In machine learning security, he works on anti-distillation defenses that protect deployed models against extraction attacks. His work in autonomous systems is driven by the goal of developing highly coordinated multi-agent robots for search-and-rescue in disaster-struck regions.
