Adam Knawby is currently pursuing the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Upon graduation in December 2025, he will be commissioned as a U.S. Naval officer and Instructor at the Naval Nuclear Power School, Charleston, SC. His research interests include aquatic robots and real-time sonar-based mapping of both living organisms and underwater structures. He has been involved in developing real-time mapping algorithms for underwater ROVs.
