Abstract

The project objective is to design a cohesive project that co-articulates the intermediate to advanced skills taught in INTP 326 ASL VII, INTP 335 English to ASL II, and INTP 336 ASL to English II courses, supporting students in developing bilingual and bicultural proficiency essential for effective ASL-English interpretation. This project will focus on: 1. Enhancing language fluency and accuracy in both ASL and English, 2. Building cultural competence to navigate diverse communication contexts, and 3. Strengthening real-time problem-solving skills through integrated practice scenarios. The project aims to provide students with a comprehensive, practical framework to seamlessly transition between ASL and English in professional interpreting settings.
