A mixed-media artist, Elizabeth creates objects which are iconic yet playful, non-literal while rich with allusions. With nature’s energies as her touchpoint, her work leans into the decorative impulse expressed through painting and monoprints and handwork such as weaving, beading, slow-stitching, and mark-making. Structural aspects reference sacred icons, theatrical sets, and pageantry. The intimate scale of her pieces is a portal into these rich realms.
