Archival Vintage Cibachrome Print 'Daffodils'

$1,200.00

Cibachrome, also known as Ilfochrome, is among the most stable of all color photographic print processes. The dyes reside within the emulsion layers, giving the print its characteristic color saturation. The base is a polyester triacetate, rather than fiber-based paper, which adds to the print's longevity.  In the 70s and 80s, Cibachrome was the only true archival darkroom color photographic printing process direct from transparencies (slides). This process will never be made again, thus this framed print is highly collectible.
