Mid-Day Recreation From 11am-noon, our entire camp takes a break for mid-day recreation. Students may select daily from four categories of activities: Outdoor Sports, Tabletop Boardgaming, Drawing and Challenges. We also provide access to the RIT recreation pool on a rotating schedule. This large aquatic facility boasts a current channel, fountains, a whirlpool and an area for water-games.

Sports:  Our sports are designed for the energetic student. Activities are closely monitored to encourage good sportsmanship and teamwork.

Previous events include:

• Kickball

• Ninja Spheres

• Soccer

• Water Relay Races

• Four-Square

Drawing: Every day we have a quiet room for drawing and reading.  The instructors who lead this room are experienced professional artists.  They often connect their laptops to the projector and draw so students may watch them work.  Students are free to ask them questions in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.

Mind Challenges:  Perfect for the student who needs to exercise their brain!  Instructors lead the students in a variety of competitive activities.

Previous activities have included:

• Live-Action Chess

• Egg Drops

• Tower-Building Challenges

• Trap Hunter

• Werewolf Mystery Game

• Artemis Starship Bridge Simulator

Tabletop Boardgaming:  Kids on Campus boasts an ever-growing library of board games.  You will find classics in our collection, including Sorry, Scrabble, Trouble, Apples to Apples and Taboo.  You will also find a selection of popular strategy games including Settlers of Catan, Hive, Takenoko, Tsuro, and Forbidden Island.

Our instructors have also been known to lead games of advanced RPGs, including Dungeons and Dragons. :-)
