Freshman Housing Now Open

Incoming Tigers can officially apply for on-campus housing for the upcoming academic year.

To complete a Housing contract, follow these instructions:

  1. Visit the myLife portal
  2. Log in with your RIT computer account username and password
  3. Click on the Housing Application button
  4. Select the 2026 - 2027 academic year 
  5. You are now ready to begin filling out your RIT housing contract
  6. Complete each section of the application

Current Student Room Selection

Current student Room Selection is right around the corner for students living in the residence halls, Global Village, Greek Circle, or anyone who did not participate in Housing Renewal.

Complete your contract and create roommate groups: February 9–15

Appointment time email: February 19

Select your space: February 23–March 6

Roommate groups are optional as many students participate as individuals.

Contracts and roommate groups can be created by logging into your MyLife portal. 

Starting next fall, second-year students can choose a brand-new living community in Residence Hall B.This space is designed for rising sophomores and includes exclusive access to an A-Level lounge and kitchen.
