About Us
Our Vision of RIT’s Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is to champion excellence in teaching and learning at RIT through the creation of a vibrant learning community.
Our Mission:
We advocate for learner-centered experiences through the promotion of evidence-based pedagogies and technologies to support inclusive, engaging, accessible, and transformational teaching and learning throughout the RIT community.
To meet this mission and in support of RIT’s Strategic Plan: Greatness Through Difference 2018-2025, the Center is driven by four strategies:
Through a variety of services, the Center for Teaching and Learning also provides faculty with the resources necessary to build and share course content, training and support for a variety of academic technologies, and support for classroom technology across the Henrietta campus.
