Come playtest games created by our graduate game design and development students Channel Get-Away Channel Get-Away is a first-person narrative puzzle game. The year is 1986, and a distressed working person is on the verge of breakdown. They find themself in the world of a monochrome 50’s ad on Channel Getaway, selling Paradise. Transported to this Paradise, you are offered the power to control the beautiful and chaotic world and cosmos to their whim. Accompanying you are people from varying perspectives, but facing similar bleak situations. Paradise a dream, devoid of the stress, monotony, and hardships that keep piling up in real life. But can Paradise truly last forever? Cog & Key Cog and Key is a 2D Puzzle Platformer based in a dystopian steampunk world following the journey of Judith Frachel to disrupt the hive mind. Humanity created clockwork automatons to take care of menial tasks, but their AI evolved into a hive mind that sees humans as disposable. As such, humanity has been pushed into the wilderness. Using wind keys, strategically speed up, lock, or reverse automations and the world to solve puzzles and navigate to the top of the clocktower. Libertalia In Libertalia, you assume the role of a pirate admiral in the Golden Age of Piracy. Build up your pirate paradise for your crew. Explore the open seas to find new territories to plunder, participate in open-sea battles, and hunt sea monsters. Raid settlements with your crew in land combat simulations. By managing your crew’s strengths and resources in these three unique phases, you’ll develop your outpost from shantytown to fortress, become a formidable force on the seas, and lead professional brigands. That is, if your crew can best other pirates, colonialists, skeleton crews, and legendary sea monsters. Pirate paradise is yours for the taking. Eternal Machination Eternal Machination is a 3D Third-Person dark-fantasy action-adventure game where you play as Seethe, an ancient entity of chaos incarnate. You have been freed from your prison under one condition, you must free the deities that have locked you away. To accomplish this, you must utilize your shadow-imbued flashy sword combos to dismantle the industrial revolution humanity has attempted. To Prevent Eternal Damnation, you must face Eternal Machination. PhantomVision PhantomVision is a 3D dark fantasy action-puzzle game. You must use your newfound ghost powers to guide and direct your descendents on a quest through the secret catacombs beneath the castle to find the gems. With swarms of dangerous ghosts and spirits standing in your way, you and your descendants must not only lift the curse, but also recover hidden parts of your history to unravel the truth of your clan’s dark past and tie up all loose ends so you can finally pass on. Thunderclap Thunderclap is a 3D combat-puzzle game where the main character, Spark, has built devices to harness and discharge the power of lightning. Their goal is to join a guild of lightning-wielding mages who have previously only accepted those who have the natural ability to control lightning. Spark will have to work through the guild's testing grounds to prove that their devices are capable of manipulating lightning by solving puzzles and defeating complex enemies to progress.
