Software Engineering
 In addition to the software engineering concentration in computer engineering,
students at RIT can choose to focus exclusively on software engineering
in a five-year BS program offered in our B.
Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences. At
RIT, there is a strong partnership between the computer engineering and
software engineering departments, and the first two years of both programs
have similar requirements. RIT's software engineering program was the
first baccalaureate program of its kind in the United States.
