RIT’s 2019 winner is the Master of Science for Teachers (MST) Visual Arts—All Grades program in the College of Art and Design.
NILOA Coach to Lead Innovative Assignment Design Workshop at RIT
The National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment (NILOA), a leader in the advancement of initiatives designed to enhance student learning, has selected RIT for their Coach program. The NILOA Coach program provides expert guidance to institutions as they advance campus initiatives which strengthen undergraduate education.
RIT Faculty Share General Education Course Assignments in a Virtual Library
Faculty from a variety of disciplines shared the assignments used to assess General Education Student Learning Outcomes with the Office of EEA. The goal was to develop a collective virtual space for accessing high quality assignments. This local initiative is similar to the Assignment Library initiative developed by the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment but is specific to RIT’s unique general education framework.
RIT Associate Professor Wins IEEE Meritorious Achievement Award in Accreditation Activities
Congratulations to Professor Richard Cliver, associate professor in the College of Engineering Technology's Electrical, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering Technology Department, on being awarded the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Meritorious Achievement Award in Accreditation Activities. The award is for leadership in engineering technology accreditation, including contributions that have enhanced institutional accreditation processes and program evaluator training.
