Free Training News - Online Training for Small Business
A free, six-module training curriculum for Safety and Health Management Systems for Small Business is now available online through the RIT OSHA Education Center. Developed by RIT under Susan Harwood Training Materials Development Grant 46B3-HT11, these modules show how a Safety and Health Management System is a process of ensuring that the core elements of safety and health assurance are coordinated in a systematic fashion.
The six modules of this program are designed to address each of the following elements required for a Safety and Health Management System:
- Management Leadership and Employee Involvement
- Worksite Analysis
- Hazard Prevention and Control
- Safety and Health Training
- Measurement and Performance
- System Function
