Attendance Record Breaks Again at the 6th Annual RIT OSHA Education Center Golf Outing

In what was arguably the best weather of the year, and in pristine course conditions, 33 people traveled to Riverton Golf Club to participate in the 6th annual RIT OSHA Education Center golf outing - setting a new attendance record.

But challenging pin placement prevented us from setting a scoring record. In previous years, the winning team has come in at 4 under par, but this year there was a three-way tie for first place, with each of the teams carding 36. In a virtual playoff, the results were:

First Place Team
Bob Kirchgessner, OSHA Buffalo Office
Mike Scime, OSHA Buffalo Office
Mike Stratton, OSHA Buffalo Office
Bob Upton, OSHA Buffalo Office

Second Place Team
Rich Drury, RIT Retiree
Dave Herford, StromTech Flooring
Rick Platt, Horizon Solutions

Third Place Team
Mike Casler, C&S Companies
Ev Griffith, Haylor, Freyer & Coon, Inc.
Jennifer Lawless, OSHA Syracuse Office
Doug Miller, Occupational Safety Consultants

Cindy Menzer Rick Platt Dave Hereford

First-time participant Cindy Menzer with Oryx Insurance took the prize for Ladies Longest Drive

Rick Platt won Mens Longest Drive, and Dave Hereford claimed the title of Closest to the Pin on the 9th hole.
