Free Training News - Online Training for Food Processing and Preservation Industry

A free, six-module training curriculum for Recognizing and Preventing Safety and Health Hazards in the Food Processing and Preservation Industry and Related Public Warehousing and Storage Industry is now available online through the RIT OSHA Education Center. Developed by RIT under Susan Harwood Training Materials Development Grant 46B4-HT15, these modules are available in both English and Spanish.

The six modules of this program include:

  • Hazard Communication
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Material Handling and Storage
  • Confined Space
  • Heat and Cold Stress
  • Lock Out / Tag Out
