meRIT : A Webinar Series for RIT Alumni
meRIT is a unique and engaging FREE webinar series developed exclusively for alumni of RIT. Spanning a variety of professional topics and presented by RIT faculty and prominent alumni, meRIT webinars are offered twice a month to alumni all around the world. Over 80 webinars have engaged nearly 3,500 attendees in the past three and a half years. Starting at the advent of RIT for Life in 2013, meRIT webinars have since received over 7,000 views on YouTube. The alumni webinar introducing President Munson in February attracted 175 attendees and has received over 100 views on YouTube so far. Learn more »

RIT Center for Quality & Applied Statistics (CQAS) Alumni Discounts
The Office of Alumni Relations is pleased to announce that as an alumna/alumnus you can now take advantage of a 20% discount on the full tuition cost for Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt Certification as well as the expanded course offerings through the RIT Center for Quality & Applied Statistics (CQAS). International Fellowship Advising
International fellowships are awards that support post-baccalaureate study, research, or project-specific work abroad.  Fellowships are awarded through a competitive, merit-based, often rigorous and lengthy application process.  As an RIT alumnus/a, you have the benefit of applying through RIT.

OSHA Class Discount 
The Office of Alumni Relations is pleased to partner with the RIT OSHA Training Institute Education Center in offering free OSHA classes to RIT alumni. Please review the catalog site prior to reaching out to Donna Winter in the School of Individualized Study at 585-475-2919 to register. Alternatively, you may download this pdf and fax to Donna Winter’s attention at 585-475-6292. Please note that you must meet the following criteria in order to be considered:

  •         Participants must be graduates of an RIT certified degree program (AAS/Bach/Mast)
  •         Faculty/staff are excluded; offering 50% discount rates through their departments
  •         Participants must meet pre-requisites of the classes
  •         All pending space availability
  •         Must register at least two weeks prior to class
  •         Excludes 10-hour classes; only numbered OSHA classes are offered

Admissions Voucher
Alumni can request an admissions voucher which is good for one per year $65.00 fee-waived RIT application for Undergraduate Admission.

Alumni Legacy Endowed Scholarship

  • What is the Alumni Legacy Endowed Scholarship?

    It is an endowed scholarship funded by RIT alumni, for RIT alumni, their children, and their grandchildren.

  • Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship?
    • RIT alumni returning to full-time study at RIT.
    • Current RIT students who are the children or grandchildren of RIT alumni and who will be enrolled full-time for the upcoming fall semester.
    • Incoming students who are the children or grandchildren of RIT alumni. New students must be admitted and have committed to enroll in full-time study for the fall semester at the time of their application.
  • How many scholarships are awarded each year? What is the value of the awards?

    The amount available to award annually depends on the total value of the endowment and accrued interest. For the 2019-2020 academic year, we anticipate awarding two scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 each.

  • How are scholarship recipients chosen?

    All applicants must be admitted and enrolled as full-time students at RIT. Scholarships are awarded based on an applicant’s demonstrated financial need, leadership activities, and academic performance. Awards are given once annually and are renewable by reapplication.

  • How are the recipients chosen?
    • Scholarships are awarded based upon the student's demonstrated financial need, leadership ability and academic performance.
    • All incoming and current undergraduate and graduate legacy students with a 3.0 GPA or better may apply.
    • Applicants must be admitted and enrolled as full-time students at RIT.
    • Awards are given once annually and are renewable by reapplication.
  • How do I apply?
    • Please note: The online application will open the week of January 7, 2019.
    • Complete and submit the online application form by Monday, March 4, 2019.
    • Scholarship recipients will be selected and notified of their award by May 31, 2019 or sooner.

    To make a gift to the Alumni Legacy Endowed Scholarship, click here. Under Designation, choose “View all Funds” and then select “RIT Alumni Legacy Endowed Scholarship.”

Library & Learning
Do you need to do professional or academic research? Read the news? Review trade journals? As a graduate, you'll enjoy privileges with the Wallace Library by having access to select library databases. In addition to the select Proquest database, you also have access to other resources which do not require authentication. Access is supported financially by your Office of Alumni Relations. To gain this Library privilege you must create an RIT account if you don't already have one, since you will need to use your username and password to connect to these valuable resources.

In addition to providing you with international travel opportunities, you can also increase your intellectual development with classes in the community at RIT's own Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
