Spanning a variety of topics and delivered by alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and industry experts, Tiger Webinars are offered several times a month throughout the year to assist RIT alumni in their lives and careers.

Classes Without Quizzes

Hosted by subject matter experts, Classes Without Quizzes are an opportunity to go back to school for just an hour or so, without the pressure of homework or exams. With diverse topics ranging from game design to beekeeping to integrated photonics to Shakespeare, and more, these unique, lecture-style talks range in topics will help expand your mind and pique your curiosity. New Classes Without Quizzes are added throughout the year, so check our events page to see when the next class is in session.

OSHA—Free Classes to RIT Alumni

The RIT OSHA Training Institute Education Center offers free OSHA classes to RIT alumni. Please review the catalog site prior to reaching out to Donna Winter in the School of Individualized Study at 585-475-2919 to register. Alternatively, you may download this pdf and fax to Donna Winter’s attention at 585-475-6292. Please note that you must meet the following criteria in order to be considered:

  • Participants must be graduates of an RIT certified degree program (AAS/Bach/Mast)
  • Faculty/staff are excluded; offering 50% discount rates through their departments
  • Participants must meet pre-requisites of the classes
  • All pending space availability
  • Must register at least two weeks prior to class
  • Excludes 10-hour classes; only numbered OSHA classes are offered

Lean Six Sigma Training

Offered through RIT’s John D. Hromi Center Quality & Applied Statistics, RIT alumni receive a discount on RIT’s Lean Six Sigma courses.
