Gene Polisseni Center

Serving as the home for RIT’s Division I men’s and women’s hockey teams, with a capacity of 4,300, the arena is located on the south side of the Student Alumni Union, in the heart of the campus. While it serves primarily as a venue for ice hockey, the arena is a multi-purpose facility capable of hosting concerts, conferences, luncheons, galas, trade shows, and expos.

Gordon Field House and Activities Center

The Gordon Field House and Activities Center is a 144,000-square-foot facility used by both the University and the community for recreational space, athletics, and special events. With an arena floor capacity of nearly 8,000 people and 2,500 fixed seats available through retractable bleachers, this multi-purpose venue has hosted a wide variety of events, including athletics competitions and championships, concerts, conferences, luncheons, galas, trade shows, and expos.

Lobozzo Alumni House

The Lobozzo Alumni House offers an impressive meeting and event space, with eye-catching design, comfort, and amenities. With easy campus access and ample parking, this space is ideal for intimate gatherings or spacious events up to 120 people including company meetings and retreats, family reunions and special celebrations, bridal and baby showers, wedding receptions and rehearsals, and holiday parties.

Tait Preserve

The Tait Preserve is RIT’s premier destination for academic research, environmental education, and ecological restoration. Located in Penfield, N.Y., the 177-acre property, formerly a sand/gravel quarry and concrete mixing plant, provides myriad opportunities for interaction and engagement with the natural world throughout the various wooded areas, open fields, waterbodies, and airspace. Also featured on the property is the Leenhouts Lodge, a magnificent timber-frame building which serves as an event and meeting space for the RIT community.
