The Center for Innovation in Manufacturing and Sustainability (CIMS) is seeking an Associate Director with established research expertise in sustainability, manufacturing, materials science, or energy systems to lead the planning, strategy, and execution of CIMS research programs. The Associate Director will oversee the development of new research program capabilities; the day-to-day operations including laboratories, facilities, and staff; and the financial performance of assigned units. The Associate Director will also identify new opportunities and develop large competitive proposals to generate new funding, and will manage stakeholder relationships with university partners, industrial and government sponsors, and funding agencies.
