RIT Commencement Volunteer Registration Form
Please note: This form is for general volunteer assignments. Please register here only if you are volunteering in addition to assignments required by your college/unit.
Commencement Health & Safety Guidelines
Please review these guidelines on the Commencement website. In brief, all persons, ages 5 and over, will need to provide proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID test result* (PCR or antigen) within 72 hours of commencement or special recognition ceremonies held in the Gordon Field House and Activities Center, the Gene Polisseni Center, Ingle Auditorium, and the Clark Gymnasium. Boosters are NOT required. Self-administered tests (including home tests) will not be accepted.
These requirements also apply to RIT Faculty, Staff and Students who are volunteering for commencement. Showing your RIT SpiRIT Pass is the easiest and quickest form of proof. Persons who are vaccinated or show negative test will receive and orange bracelet that will allow them to enter the ceremony facilities on all days. You can get your bracelet at the tents located outside of the Gordon Field House or Gene Polisseni Center on May 6 & 7, but you are encouraged to get yours on May 4th or 5th if possible to avoid the crowds of guests on the 6th and 7th.
