Welcoming our new faculty: Spring 2025/26
With the Spring 2025/26 semester now officially underway, RIT Croatia is proud to celebrate the talented new adjunct faculty members who have joined our academic community. Our new colleagues are already in the classrooms in Zagreb and Dubrovnik, bringing fresh perspectives and industry expertise to our students.
Join us in extending a warm welcome to our newest faculty members:
Global Business Management
In Zagreb, we are joined by Gjana Bekić, who will be guiding our Global Business Management students through the complexities of Exporting and Global Sourcing. Her insights will be invaluable for our future business leaders navigating the international marketplace.
Hospitality and Tourism Management
Our Dubrovnik campus welcomes Shanaelle Petty, who will be teaching (online) two critical courses for the modern hospitality landscape: Information Systems and Technology and Data Literacy, Analytics, and Decision Making. Her focus on data-driven hospitality will give our students a competitive edge in the industry.
New Media Design
The New Media Design program in Zagreb continues to evolve with the addition of Duska Nesic. She will be leading the 4D Design course, helping our creative students explore the dimensions of time and motion in digital art.
Web and Mobile Computing
In the technical corridors of our Zagreb campus, Belma Jakupović joins the WMC faculty. She will be teaching ISTE-442 Secure Web Application Development, a vital course for ensuring our students stay ahead of the curve in cybersecurity and robust coding practices.
General Education Courses
Our General Education department in Zagreb sees significant growth this semester, with five new faculty members dedicated to broadening our students' horizons:
