The Competitive Sustainability Center, at Rochester Institute of Technology Saunders College of Business, is dedicated to facilitating the pursuit of competitive sustainability opportunities among both nascent and established enterprises, non-profit organizations, and governmental agencies. Among its multifaceted endeavors, the center collaborates with partners across the ASEAN and Middle East regions to impart knowledge in circular economy principles and cultivate extensive networks for disseminating circular entrepreneurship training. This concerted effort aims to catalyze the adoption of circular business models, foster sustainable economic development, and advance environmental conservation initiatives. Moreover, the center is offering the Summer Sustainability Experience, an immersive program designed for both international and local students keen on exploring the realms of circular economy entrepreneurship and translating innovative concepts into viable enterprises. Furthermore, the center extends its expertise to assist local businesses in Rochester in leveraging competitive sustainability strategies to enhance profitability. As part of our academic offerings, we are pleased to announce the introduction of a Circular Entrepreneurship Course scheduled for this upcoming Fall term. This course is tailored to students eager to delve into the intricacies of conceiving and nurturing ventures grounded in the principles of the circular economy. The center also supports research activities focused on Sustainable Entrepreneurship Through Culture & Language, Jordan Circular Entrepreneurship, Resilient Gaming, Economic Sustainability for migrants and Refugees, Integrated Framework to Quantify Innovation and Environmental Benefits, and Ensuring Sustainable Energy Storage Operations in the US Electricity Grid.
