Faculty and staff are cordially invited by Provost Jeremy Haefner to participate in the many events of commencement weekend. Please join us as we celebrate another class of proud RIT graduates and wish them well on the next stage in their educational or professional journey.

Every full-time faculty member is expected to attend this culminating event of the academic year to witness the conferral of degrees as well as to attend his or her respective college commencement ceremony. If, however, you have a conflicting event (e.g., a family member graduating from another university) please notify your dean of your anticipated absence from either the Academic Convocation or your own college ceremony.

Volunteering

Share the joy of our graduates and their families! Our outstanding commencement weekend would not be possbile without our volunteers. You can volunteer for one ceremony or several or serve as a People Mover, Info Booth or Bus Stop Assistant.

Vounteer registration will open in late March.
