Current Solution

The Entry Assist functions as both an arm extension with a door handle grabber on one end and a door stop on the other.

Problem Statement

Many doors are difficult to use for people who require assistive devices like wheelchairs and scooters. The difficulties include the initial reaching and opening the door, keeping the door open while passing through it, and closing the door once they have passed through.

* Due to new policy of Covid-19, this project may lack mock-up and user testing process

Next Steps

- Build iterative prototypes.
- Have potential users test the design in person and receive feedback.
- Create a cost analysis and marketing plan for bringing it to the real world
