I wanted to share the great news that RIT has been recognized for our work on Enhancing Faculty Gender Diversity in Biomedical and Behavioral Science by the National Institute of Health. RIT is one of 10 recipients of a national award. AdvanceRIT submitted the award application in collaboration with the Personalized Healthcare Research (PHT-SIRA) group and some input from other groups on campus such as Women in Science (WISe), the Inclusive Excellence team in College of Science COS, and the new Diversity group in Kate Gleason College of Engineering (KGCOE). We are thrilled to have received this national recognition award announcement. The award comes will a small monetary award used to further faculty gender diversity at RIT.
