A legacy of excellence: Welcoming new members into Eta Sigma Delta
On April 9, the RIT Croatia chapter of Eta Sigma Delta (ESD) held its formal induction ceremony at the Hotel Hilton in Dubrovnik. The event recognized seven new members for their academic achievements and commitment to the hospitality profession.
The ceremony serves as a bridge between the classroom and the professional world, highlighting students who have not only excelled in their studies but have also demonstrated the society’s core values: Service, Creativity, Ethics, and Leadership.
The new inductees
This year, the society welcomed six students from the Hospitality and Tourism Management program who have distinguished themselves among their peers through both their GPA and their professional potential:
- Mia Bajurin
- Isidora Božović
- Teodora Ćirović
- Mario Prce
- Luka Savin
- Mia Stjepčević
- Relja Vuković
In addition to these students, the society was pleased to induct RIT Croatia’s alumna, Ms. Maja (Musa) Glavinić, AP Manager at Grand Circle Corporation, as this year’s distinguished industry representative. Her inclusion reinforces the society's mission to foster direct connections between top-performing students and established industry leaders.
