Students on the Move | February 2020

Congratulations are in order for several students in RIT’s TRiO Upward Bound program. They are opening college acceptance letters. They’re hearing from schools like Lane College(Jackson, TN), Florida International University (Miami, FL), Claflin University (Orangeburg, SC), Hampton University (Hampton, VA), and Bowie State (Bowie, MD) just to name a few.

Some of the students have made a commitment, including Kyle Westbrook, who received a scholarship from Rochester Institute of Technology. Ymani Navedo committed to University of Buffalo and Janelle Miller, Alfred University.

Patrick Brooks, Jr, from the Leadership Academy received a full scholarship to St. John Fisher.
