Through the generous support of Bank of America, Veterans Upward Bound has been awarded a $6,000 grant to provide financial literacy workshops to veterans. The series begins on Monday, November 18th and runs through December 16th. Registration deadline is November 11th.

BACC is an organization that was established in 1969 and built on a rich history of achievement, pride, and unity. It began as a way for minority students to unify and build a strong voice for the African American student when very few acknowledged what they felt or had to say. Today, the fundamental purpose of the BACC is to improve the overall image, mindset, and college experience of the Black student at Rochester Institute of Technology.

The partnership between RIT and Rochester Prep High School (RPHS) enters its sixth year of operation this fall. Conceived and funded by RIT trustee Ron Zarrella, the unique arrangement between RIT and this public urban charter school just gets better and better.
Donathan Brown, Ph.D, joined the Division of Diversity and Inclusion in the Office of Faculty Diversity and Recruitment (OFDR) on August 12th as assistant provost and assistant vice president for faculty diversity and recruitment. While overseeing the Office of Faculty Diversity and Recruitment (OFDR), Dr. Brown will provide institutional leadership for the effective recruitment and advancement of a diverse and excellent faculty.
