Tackle the health and wellness checklist items

Adjusting to life on a college campus means taking charge of your health in a new way. At RIT, you’ll have access to a wide range of health and wellness resources to help you stay well and thrive. To help you prepare, we’ve outlined some key services and important action items to complete before you arrive on campus.

When you’re checking (and double-checking) each item off your RIT packing list, the number of things you will need for the year ahead may feel overwhelming. To make packing as easy as possible, we’ve compiled a list of essential items to help you take the best care of yourself at your new home away from home.

Here are some health and wellness items to pack:

  • Copy of your health insurance card and health insurance contact information
    • Important: Health insurance is required. You can use a family plan (check Rochester coverage!) or enroll in RIT's robust student plan. Learn more >
