Counseling and Psychological Services provides confidential and personalized services to meet the mental health needs of RIT students.

We are committed to the expectation that all students who seek our services should be met with a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment. Counseling and Psychological Services strives to enhance the potential for learning and success through promotion of the emotional health and well-being of the campus community by providing:


Responsive, empirically-based, and culturally competent mental health services


Graduate clinical training in counseling, psychotherapy, and college mental health


Campus-wide consultation, education, and resources

Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Schedule, change, or cancel an appointment using a secure message on the RIT Wellness Portal or contact us at 585-475-2261.
