The Printing Applications Lab (PAL) is located in Rochester, NY, on the campus of Rochester Institute of Technology(RIT). PAL offers non-credit training programs to the printing and imaging industry, in a public or custom format. Digital Printing Boot Camp, Printing Process ID & Image Analysis for Forensic Document Examiners and Security Printing Technology Workshop are examples of our public programs. These courses run 3-5 days typically and are held on RIT’s campus. The Printing Applications Lab has over 50 years of experience delivering programs to the printing and imaging industry.
PAL’s training manager and subject matter experts will work directly with your organization to build a customized training workshop program to help your organization advance to its maximum potential. We have conducted custom programs on subjects ranging from optimizing traditional printing processes to print color management to intensive hands-on training in the latest digital printing techniques – and many others. PAL programs are usually conducted on and off the RIT campus for training. The training can be delivered at the location of your choice. While training at RIT, local businesses can be part of the learning experience to see press platforms which may not be housed at RIT. Your options are virtually unlimited.
