The Printing Applications Laboratory at RIT/GIS is staffed with dedicated professionals and world-class printing experts who have been helping our clients design and execute experiments for decades.  Our staff includes engineers and technologists with expertise in digital printing, digital print production workflow and computer-to-plate, color measurement and control, as well as web and sheetfed offset lithography.

The PAL staff uses practical methods and disciplined problem-solving approaches that result in timely, real ROI in the marketplace. From helping you evaluate one select variable to managing long-term highly detailed investigative research programs, our staff provides the insight, experience, and investigative expertise to get the results you need.

Depending on the nature of the project, team members may be joined by printing experts from RIT’s School of Media Sciences and other faculty members in engineering, materials science, packaging, or imaging science to provide in-depth knowledge in specific areas of interest.
