Dave Tyler has served at RIT's Director of Social Media since 2017. In this role, he oversees a team running the university's main social media accounts and sets strategy and direction with other RIT offices and departments. Tyler's work includes content creation, reputational management, customer engagement, tactical guidance and crisis communications.

He is a resident of the city of Rochester and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
