The Division of Marketing and Communications is responsible for strategically enhancing the reputation of the university. Our mission is to tell the story of RIT to the world: The university is shaping the future and improving the world through creativity and innovation at the intersection of technology, the arts, and design.

The division coordinates marketing and communications activities for the university in an effort to unify RIT through a consistent and cohesive messaging platform. The integrated team of storytellers leads the university in areas such as: branding, marketing communications, public relations, media relations, website design and development, print production, multimedia writing and design, photography, video production, social media, and analytics.
