- RIT SportsZone
SportsZone debuted in 2002 as a 30-minute TV program featuring the university's Division I and Division III athletic programs.
This original sports magazine broadcast was a collaboration between ESPN, Time Warner Cable, and RIT, and aired throughout New York State for fourteen seasons. Today RIT SportsZone has grown exponentially, expanding from the original single sports program to a multi-media production ensemble, which now includes SportsZone Pregame, SportsZone LIVE, SportsZone In-House, and SportsZone All Access. The four programs employees a staff of over 70 students.
SportsZone Programs
RIT SportsZone Pregame
RIT SportsZone Pregame LIVE debuted in the Fall of 2016. The 30-minute hockey broadcast airs prior to all men's home games. SZ Pregame LIVE offers Tiger fans the most comprehensive, in-depth look inside the program, with features, LIVE interviews and more.
RIT SportsZone LIVE
RIT SportsZone LIVE has broadcast all men's hockey home games since 2008. SportsZone LIVE produces and airs nearly 30 LIVE events each year, including select women's hockey and men's lacrosse games.
RIT SportsZone In-House
RIT SportsZone In-House has provided a first class in-game experience for fans since the state-of-the-art Gene Polisseni Center opened in 2014. SZ professional and student staff produce all content for the two high definition video boards, including promotions, statistics, and a LIVE game feed.
