Debuted in 2002 as RIT SportsZone with a 30-minute TV program featuring the university's Division I and Division III athletic programs.

The original sports magazine broadcast was a collaboration between ESPN, Time Warner Cable, and RIT, and aired throughout New York State for fourteen seasons. Today RIT Sports Network has grown exponentially, expanding from the original single sports program to a multi-media production ensemble, which now includes multiple programs and events and employs over 70 students and professional staff.

RIT Sports Network Pregame

RIT Sports Network Pregame LIVE debuted in the Fall of 2016. The 30-minute hockey broadcast airs prior to most men's home games and select women’s home games. Pregame LIVE offers Tiger fans the most comprehensive, in-depth look inside the hockey programs, with features, LIVE interviews, and more


RIT Sports Network LIVE

RIT Sports Network LIVE began with broadcasting all men's hockey home games in 2008. LIVE produces and airs over 30 LIVE events each year, including men’s hockey games, and select women's hockey and men's lacrosse games. Division I Women’s and Men’s Hockey coverage is distributed on FloSports.

Over 150 Division III sporting events are streamed every season from RIT Athletics website.


RIT Sports Network In-House

RIT Sports Network In-House has provided a first class in-game experience for fans since the Gene Polisseni Center opened in 2014. RIT Sports Network professional and student staff produce all content for two high definition video boards, including promotions, statistics, and a LIVE game broadcast.
