Chris Hoyt

Chris Hoyt brings seven years of experience in Research and Development to his role as a Design Exploration Manager for Herman Miller. In this position, Hoyt oversees design projects as they flow from the conceptual stage through development and execution. Additionally, Hoyt builds relationship with potential creative partners who share Herman Miller’s human-centered, problem-solving approach to design, and works with them to build partnerships that will flourish with the company in the future. Hoyt is a graduate of Detroit’s College for Creative Studies, and was a recent participant in ArtPrize, an internationally renowned art competition in Grand Rapids. He and his wife live in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
