While you can always reach out to the RSC for help, if you arrived on campus before 2024, try to verify that you are using a new smart ID (see next question).  Older cards do not work in the SHED, Wallace Center and several other buildings.

If you’re not sure if you have the new smart card, look for this logo (3millID) on the back. If you see that logo, you’re all set. If you don’t see it, please visit the ID Card Office to exchange it.

Caution

Wireless charging uses magnetic induction to charge your phone. Don't place anything between your phone and the charger. Magnetic mounts, magnetic cases, or other objects between your phone and the charger might reduce performance or damage magnetic strips or RFID chips like those found in some credit cards, security badges, passports, and key fobs. If your case holds any of these sensitive items, remove them before charging or make sure that they aren't between the back of your phone and the charger.
