Dear Saunders College of Business students,

I am excited to announce my candidacy for the position of Saunders College of Business (SCB) Senator. As a student who is passionate about making positive changes in our community, I believe that I have the necessary skills and experience to serve you effectively.

As a student senator, I would prioritize improving the resources and facilities available to students. In particular, I believe that we could make several improvements to enhance the learning environment and make our time at Saunders even more productive and enjoyable.

One of my top priorities would be to increase the number of outlets available in common areas and study spaces. This could through increasing the number of power strips. I understand how frustrating it can be to have to search for a place to charge your laptop or phone when you're trying to study, so I would work to ensure that there are plenty of outlets available throughout the building.

Another important improvement would be to increase the number of study spaces available to students. I know how difficult it can be to find a quiet, comfortable space to work on assignments or prepare for exams, so I would work to create more designated study areas within the building.

In addition, I believe that we could benefit from having fewer couches and more functional furniture in our common areas. While couches can be comfortable, they often take up valuable space that could be used for more productive purposes. By replacing some of our couches with desks, chairs, and other functional furniture, we could create more space for students to work and study.

Despite these potential areas for improvement, there are many things that are already going well at Saunders. For example, the staff and faculty are incredibly supportive and are always willing to help students in any way they can. The various clubs and organizations on campus offer numerous opportunities for students to get involved and make connections with their peers.

Overall, I believe that my experience and dedication make me an excellent candidate for the position of SCB Senator. If elected, I would work tirelessly to improve the resources and facilities available to students and ensure that our time at Saunders College of Business is as rewarding as possible. Thank you for considering my candidacy, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,
Aalyan Rajwani
