Bio

I'm Adam Schultzer, I'm currently a 3rd year Computer Engineering Major. I'm a big fan of a lot of things, like programming, singing, and digging large holes. The normal stuff. I do a lot at RIT, and I'm always looking for more things to add to my schedule. I've got a good amount of experience in representative structures like Student Government, and I'm looking forwards to the opportunity to be part of that at RIT.

Platform

If I'm elected to the KGCOE Senator position, I plan on doing anything I can to advocate for our college. KGCOE is already pretty great, and although we already have a reasonably prestigious position at RIT, it never hurts to have someone fighting in your corner. If there's one thing I know I'm good at, it's standing up for the position of others. Assigning that duty to standing up for an entire college? Sign me up. Put me in coach.

I can't say exactly what KGCOE needs, because I am just a guy, but I want to make a real effort to increase outreach to KGCOE students. I want to find out what you know, and what you want. I can't promise every change will come to fruition, but I'll make sure everyone's voices are heard. If you could tell RIT anything, what would you say? What would you do? Whatever it is, I'll talk their ears off until they can tell just what you want.

Beyond just representing the interests of KGCOE in the overall Student Government system, I also want to make a big effort to increase transparency. If there's one thing about me, it's that I talk too much. Far beyond small talk and discussing current events, there's not much I leave unsaid. Why can't I leave it unsaid? Because I care deeply about making sure that things aren't happening behind people's backs. In the last few years at RIT, there's been a lot of small changes that have managed to fly under the radar. Everyone could use somebody in their corner, letting them know what's going on the world of RIT. Maybe next year, I will get time to put everything right before your eyes.

These goals are works in progress to be sure, but they're certainly achievable, and I am willing to do what it takes to achieve them. If you place your trust in me, I'm certain you won't be disappointed. Take a ride with me and help me make KGCOE an even better place to learn. What are we waiting for?
