Hey everyone! I’m Haroon Aziz, a fourth-year Software Engineering student.

Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a Supplemental Instruction Leader, hosting collaborative review sessions and helping students get A’s in both ECON-101 and CS-140. Outside of RIT, I lead a creative production team as a monetized content creator on YouTube and TikTok, where I coordinate voice actors and VFX artists to bring horror films to life, one of which was featured on Film Theory. How, you ask? My plan is to…

-Add a hot chocolate machine and a ping pong table to Golisano

-Invite recruiters to set up stands in Golisano throughout the semester

-Create more structured opportunities for freshmen to connect with upperclassmen about their co-op experiences

-Increase exposure for GCCIS clubs, especially those that help students prepare for co-ops, by collaborating with professors to encourage student involvement

I believe delivering on these promises will prove that student voices matter and inspire more students to engage, communicate with representatives, and even run for positions themselves.
