SCB Senator
Bio
Hi Saunders! I am a third-year major in Finance and Marketing, with the purpose of using technical skills to build impactful startups. I am the Co-Founder and CEO of GroupSoup, a startup platform designed to better connect small businesses and locals who want to hosts reoccuring events. Building this venture for the past couple of years has given me lots of experience in visionary leadership, and our interns the opportunity to grow and graduate!
I also serve as the Resource Navigator at RIT's Center for Urban Entrepreneurship (CUE), where I support local founders by connecting them with strategic resources that power growth. The CUE is in the heart of downtown Rochester, and an awesome space to be a part of.
Outside of my current career roles, I am also an MCC alum, a Bernard Kozel Startup Program alum, Subcommittee for the Leadership Academy at Saunders, and I studied abroad in Japan last summer!
Platform
My platform is centered on one core idea: Saunders students should feel empowered to build boldly.
I aim to advocate for streamlined entrepreneurial programming, clearer pathways to resources, and stronger visibility of the support systems already available through RIT. Too often, opportunities exist — but students don’t know where to look or how to begin. I want to make entrepreneurship at Saunders feel accessible, organized, and actionable rather than overwhelming.
I am currently assisting in piloting a program designed to expand access to co-op opportunities for Saunders students while simultaneously helping student founders refine and grow their startups. My goal is to continue building initiatives that create real, tangible pathways between classroom learning, professional experience, and venture development.
Beyond entrepreneurship, I believe student government should actively improve the everyday college experience. From advocating for better options at Bytes to pushing for clearer course organization and scheduling transparency, I am committed to addressing student-voiced concerns directly and efficiently.
Saunders should feel like a place where success — whether as an entrepreneur, analyst, marketer, or leader — is attainable, structured, and exciting from freshman year through senior year. As Senator, I will prioritize clarity, connection, and opportunity so every student can confidently move toward their goals.
