Scholarships Available for Grad School

A graduate degree brings opportunity for high-level positions and increased salary, but the immediate cost can be a financial burden. Saunders College of Business seeks to alleviate these costs for its students. Here are our scholarships to cut the cost of your degree!

Merit Scholarships

Merit Scholarships are available to all students after their first year. High-achieving students with a minimum 3.70 GPA and nine credits from RIT are eligible to apply for Merit Awards. Scholarship amounts vary.

Saunders Leadership Fellows Scholarship 

The Saunders Leadership Fellows offers cohort-based learning and connections with business leaders as mentors. All applicants to the master of business administration (MBA), MBA in accounting, MS of accounting, MS of business analytics, MS of computational finance, MS of technology innovation management and entrepreneurship, MS of finance, MS of global supply chain management, MS of hospitality and tourism, MS of human resource development, and MS of service leadership and innovation programs are eligible for the Saunders Leadership Fellows Program. Along with an opportunity for networking and growth accomplished with the guidance of knowledgeable faculty, all Leadership Fellows members will receive a guaranteed 50% scholarship.

Scholarship Awards for Non-RIT and Partner Schools

Any student from each of Saunders’ non-RIT 4+1 partner institutions who meet the full admissions requirements can receive a 40% scholarship award starting any graduate program in spring 2021, summer 2021, or fall 2021. After fall 2021, the policy will revert to one student receiving the 40% scholarship and other applicants receiving a minimum 20% award. Review of Saunders scholarship awards takes place along with department admission decisions. 

RIT Master Plan

RIT students and recent alumni can receive a scholarship covering 55% of tuition for qualifying master's degrees. Graduates from December 2019, May 2020, August 2020, December 2020, May 2021, and August 2021 are eligible.

RIT Honors Student Scholarship

RIT honors students can now receive a 60% scholarship* and apply for a GMAT/GRE waiver when accepted into Saunders College of business.

Saunders Admissions Scholarships

Saunders offers scholarships alongside your admissions decision. After a review of your application materials, an award is determined. A limited number of accepted students receive the awards based on the order in which applications are received, so applicants are encouraged to complete their application materials as early as possible.
