I’m a 4th year student majoring in Metals and Jewelry Design, dual majoring with SOIS studying Prehealth. I have many interests and within those, all are interconnected in some sort of way. Working with glass and metals betters my understanding in chemistry and the way it works, which enhances my understanding of the interconnectedness and delicateness of the human body. The way I see it, all things in life are intertwined, whether it be involvement on campus or community service off campus, it all ties back to selflessness, the building process and service to the people. Women empowering other women builds positivity and that spreads it, that supports it. Meeting new people and listening to different stories makes you more aware, in turn, it makes you more understanding and considerate of what those around you are going through or have went through. All in all, we build ourselves the way we want to, whether it be starting from the ground up, halfway up, or fixing our structure. That may mean we have to break our structures down to build from a stronger base. We just have to remember to build, whatever happens, just keep building.
