An exclusive online exhibition of Rebecca Aloisio's images of industrial futurism and archaic techno graphics are integrated through a collage-based process that abstracts spatial continuity and surface texture. Three-dimensional forms are derived from disposable, ubiquitous vessels and objects that are progressively flattened, reconfigured and transformed to a 2-dimensional image. The colors of physical light and interference merge the non-objective with the symbolic to evoke a sense of decryption, connection and decipherment. The image is ultimately suspended in a state of illusionary space and subjectivity.
