I am a physicist by training but a generalist by choice. I have worked in the private sector as an electronics engineer and consultant, as a physicist for the US Army, as a physicist at a large univeristy reseaarch facility (U of Rochester Lab. for Laser Energetics) and now lead my own research program investigating combustion processes for wildland fires.

Job Responsibilities
Physics based research in combustion of wildland fuel materials. Ground based, airborne and satellite observations of wildland fires from meter scale to landscape scale. Teaching and student supervision of research.
