Abstract:
How does "the college experience" look different for working-class students, and what can we do to support them better? Join us for a lunchtime discussion! Even for students with full scholarships, socioeconomic status can have major impacts on the college experience, from peer relationships to research opportunities. Join us for a discussion of low-income and first-generation student experiences, available resources on- and off-campus, and how we can make the college environment more friendly to people of all class and educational backgrounds.
