RIT updated its process for vetting new undergraduate and graduate degree program ideas beginning in August 2019. This new streamlined approach will help ensure that program ideas are vetted across the university before a full proposal is developed.
All new degree program ideas will be required to follow the new process. Examples of degree programs are BS, BFA, MS, MFA, MBA, and Ph.D.
Please note that certificate and advanced certificate programs are exempt from the Intent Document process.
The next submission deadline for new Intent Documents (and resubmissions) is October 15, 2024.
