In addition to the Tiger Talks Faculty Showcase, a variety of workshops and presentations are available to renew and re-energize you the whole month of Intersession (January 5-23, 2015)!  Browse through the many selections below and register for one or many to get inspired by fresh ideas to re-energize your classroom and research activities all year long!  Of special note are Publishing Without Perishing: A One-Day Symposium for Scholars on Academic Book Publishing and a half-day workshop “Power Up” Your Emotional Intelligence with Molly McGowan of RIT’s Leadership Institute.


Grant Writers' Boot Camp

January 19 and 20, 2015 RIT Inn and Conference Center.

Sponsored Research Services is pleased to offer Grant Writer’s Boot Camp again in 2015. The Boot Camp is a two-day, intensive workshop on the mechanics of persuasive writing and peer review. Participation involves significant pre-work. Attendees will prepare a proposal for seed funding in advance of Boot Camp and a limited number of participants will receive awards. The Boot Camp is designed to introduce new faculty, or those with limited experience in grant writing, to the process of writing and winning external funding. Click here for more information
